TERRA
Een groepsexpositie in het najaar van 2025, met als thema TERRA ofwel 'aarde'. Onze aarde. We riepen kunstenaars op om hun visie daarop met ons te delen. Hun visie op de natuur, ons landschap en wat wij als mensen met onze planeet doen. Van verwondering tot zorg, van schoonheid tot vervuiling - alles kwam binnen dit thema samen. Het resultaat was dan ook een expositie met qua techniek en discipline zeer uiteenlopende kunstwerken, maar die wel allemaal durfden te verwonderen, te confronteren en vragen opriepen. Vragen die eigenlijk allemaal hierop neer kwamen:
Wat is onze plek op aarde, en hoe gaan wij daar mee om?
Een groep van 12 kunstenaars liet zich inspireren door dit thema:
Arnold Nix Holterman, Carolijn Booy, Christy De Witt, Claudia Funk, Diana van Wijk, Gerard Schilder, Hijmen Van Keulen, Marjon Trap, Pinko-B, Rob Scheuierman, Tjitske Koopmans en Woosje Stuart. Zij tonen tekeningen en schilderijen, analoge en digitale collages, objecten en sculpturen, en nog veel meer. Kom het zelf bewonderen bij Kobalt & Co!
TERRA liep van 13 september t/m 16 november 2025. Een drukbezocht hoogtepunt tijdens TERRA was het Groot Rotterdams Atelierweekend dat dat jaar plaatsvond op zaterdag 20 en zondag 21 september.
Ook organiseerden we tijdens TERRA weer een creatief workshopprogramma voor jong en oud.
TERRA werd mede mogelijk gemaakt dankzij Cultuur Concreet.

TERRA was a group exhibition about Earth. Our Earth. TERRA featured a group of 12 artists exploring their views and feelings on nature, our landscape, and how we humans treat our planet. TERRA showed nature's very wonders and beauty but certainly did not shy away from real concerns about pollution and waste. TERRA brought together a collection of art that did amaze and confront, and raised some very valid and difficult questions. Bottom line, it all came down to this one:
What exactly is our place on earth, and how do we relate to it?
TERRA showed artworks created by 12 artists who drew their inspiration from the themes and questions above: Arnold Nix Holterman, Carolijn Booy, Christy De Witt, Claudia Funk, Diana van Wijk, Gerard Schilder, Hijmen Van Keulen, Marjon Trap, Pinko-B, Rob Scheuierman, Tjitske Koopmans and Woosje Stuart. Drawings and paintings, analogue and digital collages, objects and sculptures, and more.
During TERRA's run, Kobalt & Co also was a participant in the 2025 edition of the annual Big Open Studio Weekend Rotterdam. We also organised an ancillary programme of creative workshops connected to TERRA's earth and nature themes.
